Raina Villareal

Raina Villareal is a Mexican and Puerto Rican recording engineer who was born and raised in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Raised in a highly musical household- from her grandfather who was a Latin Folk singer/songwriter, to her father who imbued an appreciate for rock bands such as Queen, The Beatles, and Fleetwood Mac, Carlos Santana, and vocalists such as Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and many others - Raina pulls inspiration from a variety of musical genres when it comes to her own personal musical persona.

In May 2023, Raina graduated with a B.A. in Audio Arts and Acoustics with Magna Cum Laude honors in Music Recording, having trained under the guidance of Bernie Mac and Christopher Berkley, as well as Doug McBride.

Whether working with solo artists, full bands, audiobooks, podcasts, or audio dramas / ADR, Raina’s mission is to provide a safe and creative safe environment, while producing excellent quality sound with her artists.
